We often include names of children and grandchildren in the decorative border. These texts can be used as is, though many couples find that the wisdom and experience they have gained over the years inspires them to speak to their special relationship.
Anniversary Text 1:
On the _____ day of the week, the _____day of the month of _________ in the year five thousand seven hundred sixty-________ since the creation of the world, corresponding to the ______ day of the month of ____________ in the year two thousand ______, in _________(place) ____________, the holy covenant of marriage was entered into between the groom, ________, and the bride, __________.
______ years ago on this day, we joined our lives in marriage. We promised to cherish and honor each other with faithfulness and integrity as is customary among the sons and daughters of Israel. Today we reaffirm our commitment to each other as beloveds and partners in marriage. We continue to strive to be sensitive to each other’s needs, to be open and understanding with each other, and to share our thoughts, our feelings, and our experiences with each other.
We renew our promise to try always to bring out the qualities of forgiveness, compassion, and integrity in our selves and in each other. We continue to cherish each other’s uniqueness. We continue to share in life’s joys and remain steadfast and comfort each other through life’s sorrows. may we forever continue through life’s journey beside each other, our hearts still filled with love, respect, and admiration, as it was so many years ago.
May our caring for each other continue to grow deeper. May our love for each other grow even stronger. May our home be filled with hope, peace, and love as it has been for all these years we have shared together. May we share just as many more.
It is all valid and binding.

Anniversary Text 2:
On the _____ day of the week, the _____day of the month of _________ in the year five thousand seven hundred sixty-________ since the creation of the world, corresponding to the ______ day of the month of ____________ in the year two thousand ______, in _________(place) ________, the holy covenant of marriage was entered into between the groom, _________, and the bride, _________.
In celebration of the _____ years that have passed since we joined our lives in marriage, years that have included joy and sorrow, delights and difficulties, intimacy and conflict, laughter and tears, and, above all, love and devotion, we reaffirm our commitment to each other as beloveds and partners in marriage.
Now we say to each other, May our hearts be united, our love endure, and our friendship grow richer as we continue to fulfill our dreams and achieve our goals. May our caring grow deeper and stronger, that we may continue to comfort each other in sadness and to share our laughter as the years pass. May our commitment to the Jewish people remain steadfast through the seasons and years to come. May we celebrate together the milestones of life according to our Jewish heritage. May our home remain a loving environment dedicated to peace, hope, and respect for all people, a home filled with love, learning, compassion, and integrity.
In the midst of our daily cares, let our memories of years past and the promise of our future together be a continuing source of happiness and contentment in the present.

Anniversary Text 3:
This ketuba attests, before God and family members present, that on the _____ day of the week, the _____day of the month of _________ in the year five thousand seven hundred sixty-________ since the creation of the world, corresponding to the ______ day of the month of __________ in the year two thousand ______, in _________(place) __________, the bride, __________, and the groom, ___________, made this mutual covenant as partners in marriage:
May we be consecrated to each other by these rings. Let our lives be intertwined forever. Let our hearts be united in faith and in hope. Let our home be rich with wisdom and reverence.
Limitless is my love for you and my devotion without end. I take you to be mine in love and in tenderness. I take you to be mine in faithfulness. May our hearts beat as one in days of joy as well as in days of trouble. May our home be built on Torah and lovingkindness. May our love for each other last forever.
This covenant of marriage has been signed and sealed according to the laws and traditions that began with Abraham and Sarah and continued through Moses and the People Israel. It is valid and binding.
This ketuba also witnesses that ______ years from the time that _________ and ________ made their mutual covenant as partners in marriage, they gathered with family members to reiterate the substance of their marriage vows, saying to each other: All this we like to think we have undertaken to the best of our abilities. And so our marriage remains as valid and binding as ever it was. And so it will continue to be.
