Original ketuba ©2008 Elaine Adler • 22" x 22"
This monochromatic ketubah in shades of blue is stunning and elegant, combining simplicity and complexity. The scrolling white vine design is scattered with flowers in shades of blue. The four triangles continue the monochromatic blue tones, except for one red pomegranate in each corner. The four small circles around the edges echo the white vine design with a mountain scene at the top, a Celtic knot at the left, a Star of David at the right, and a compass at the bottom. Above the egalitarian text is a tree containing names of the bride and groom's immediate family members. |
