This ketubah combines a structured border, albeit with dark, rich colors and playful curves, with a freeform text and design in the center oval. The three scenes depict Boston, where the bride and groom grew up; DC, where they currently live and developed their relationship; and back to Boston for their wedding and possible future. Four passages are written in the four corners.
