For this little girl, the family decided on a bountiful garden with a free-spirited girl running through it. We created a Midrash that reflects her two names, Shayna (beautiful) and Davi (beloved). The design and passages offer blessings for her as she grows from childhood to the woman she will become.
I photographed the artwork, created a .jpg file, added a colorful border, and sent it to the parents so they could attach this image to an email as their birth announcement to friends and family. (See the image with a border in my Birth Announcement section.) The parents were pleased to transfer the money that would have covered printing of announcements to artwork that would hang on their wall forever.
